I recently upgraded from my Canon EOS 70D. Most convincing reason has been the new sensor with more than 50% more pixels than the old one, all combined with a new DIGIC8 processor. Also, uncropped 4K video is a strong feature.

My everyday lens and for sure the best lens I ever bought. The constant aperture allows you to use it in low-light-situations as well for great bokeh-looks during the day. It is well built and also after massive use through two years, it is still fantastic. If you see Gen 1 of this lens, go for Gen2 instead. Much better, trust me.

I only use Ben’s filters which never let me down. Give it a try! Also, by the way, his video lessons and photo trainings are one of the best you can get.
